Moin liebe Anwohner:innen der Marthastraße,
Schon einige Male haben wir – die Anwohner:innen der Marthastraße – ein Straßenfest veranstaltet, welche wir als tollen Erfolg gewertet haben. Über hundert Menschen haben an einen Samstag bei herrlichem Wetter zusammen in unserer Straße Bands gelauscht, getanzt, geschnackt, Limo getrunken, Flohmarktschnäppchen gejagt und sich über das Bauprojekt „Marthas Insel“ informiert.
Auch dieses Jahr wagen wir einen neuen Anlauf. Am Samstag dem 31.08.2024 laden wir euch herzlich dazu ein, beim Marthafest 2024 einen bunten Tag mit uns zu verbringen. Damit wir wieder zusammen ein vielfältiges Programm auf die Beine stellen können, wollen wir euch herzlich einladen, euch auch in die Vorbereitungen einzubringen!
Hast du besondere Fähigkeiten? Ein ausgefallenes Hobby? Einen Pavillon im Keller? Lust einen Kuchen beizusteuern? Ist Organisation dein Steckenpferd oder hast du einfach Lust in der Vorbereitung, beim Auf- oder Abbau mit anzupacken? Dann bringt euch schon in die Planung ein, denn das Marthafest kann nur so bunt werden wie ihre Bewohner:innen!
Dieses Jahr wird es die Möglichkeit geben einen Anwohner:innen-Flohmarkt mitzugestalten. Wenn ihr also alte Schätze oder das ein oder andere Kleidungsstück für einen kleinen Preis verkaufen wollt, kommt dazu!
Wir freuen uns auf eure Ideen und laden herzlich ein, an unseren Marthafest Vorbereitungs- und Infotreffen teilzunehmen! Wir treffen uns am 14.07.2024 um 14 Uhr in der Marthastraße 17 stellen uns vor und besprechen Ideen, Beweggründe und Pläne rund um das Fest.
Wenn du an dem Termin nicht kannst, aber generell an Informationen rund um die Planung interessiert bist, oder dich nur am Tag des Straßenfestes selbst einbringen möchtest (Essensausgabe, Bierzapfen, Auf- oder Abbau), dann melde dich einfach unter der Emailadresse: marthafest@martha-kiel.de
Außerdem möchten wir jetzt schon darauf hinweisen, dass am Tag des Marthafestes die gesamte Straße gesperrt sein wird. Solltest du diesbezüglich ein Anliegen haben, schreibe gerne eine E-mail an die obenstehende Adresse.

Hello and Moin dear neighbours of the Marthastraße,
Over the past years we – the inhabitants of the Marthastraße – have successfully organized several street festivals joined and enjoyed by many people. On a lovely and mostly sunny Saturday in August our street was filled with many friends and guests who got to listen and dance to the music of invited bands, to chat and have drinks and to inform themselves about the urban project of “Marthas Insel”.
We would like to invite you to this year’s Marthafest on August 31st where we plan to spend another colourful day together.
We would also like to invite you to join the preparations for the street festival to include your ideas and ensure an inclusive program.
Do you have an exciting hobby? Do you maybe have a pavilion or an ale-bench lying around in your cellar? Do you like to bake and would happily contribute a cake to the buffet? Are you excited about planning events? Or would you simply like to join us in assembling and decorating everything before or putting everything away after the event?
Then please join us in the preparation and planning to ensure this Marthafest will be as colourful as its people!
At this year’s street festival, we would like to organise a fleemarket from neighbours for neighbours. So, if you have any treasures you no longer need, if you want to declutter any clothes please reach out and join us!
We are looking forward to your ideas and would be happy to see you at the organizing events.
We are inviting all of you for a first get together on July 14th at 14:00 in Marthastraße 17 to get to know each other, to talk about the plans so far and the motivation behind the street festival – how it all started.
